College Readiness Program
Every year, parents spend countless hours and dollars preparing their teens to get accepted to college: test prep courses, private college counselors, campus tours and visits… The list goes on and on. And yet, many parents spend ZERO time preparing their teens for what happens once they actually get to college! The social/emotional transition to college is full of traps and pitfalls that can easily be avoided by strategically planning and prepping in advance.
We must start focusing on prevention instead of crisis management.
The College Readiness Program is designed to give girls and parents the tools they need to successfully navigate the transition to college. This workshop is structured to provide the utmost value to both parents and girls, covering all aspects of college life including finances, homesickness, communal living, sex, drugs, friendships, health and more!
Features include:
- A tool for assessing your teen’s current state of readiness for the upcoming transition
- A foundational education in each area of life affected by the transition
- Group discussion to increase awareness and support
- One-on-one strategizing for girls and parents to address areas of concern
